“La Guera” Making Brunch Dreams Come True

    Hellooo Brunch!

I don’t know about you, but when looking for weekend brunch options, seeing “bottomless mimosas” on the menu is an instant pleaser. So, you can only imagine the excitement that ran through my veins when I found out La Guera served bottomless mimosas AND bottomless brunch. What? How? When? I seriously could not believe such a thing existed. When I heard “bottomless brunch” I instantly assumed “breakfast buffet”, and let’s be honest, buffets can sometimes be kinda gross; the thought of multiple people handling food that I am consuming is not appetizing in the least, but La Guera offers a family-style dining concept that is totally different from a buffet!

Walking into La Guera, you are immediately greeted with fun, vibrant decorations and a beautiful bar, that transport you right back to Mexico. The dining space is ultra casual (and comfortable might I add), and the staff is super friendly. The highlight of this restaurant however, is for sure the menu! Worth mentioning is that all the menu items can be made Vegan and GF to accommodate any food restrictions & allergies.

Sooo here’s the deal. Brunch is served every Saturday and Sunday from 11am-3pm. Bottomless brunch including food & drinks will cost you $30, while just food will cost $20. This price includes endless amounts of mixed & matched food & drink items. The portions are smaller than usual but this is because you can keep ordering as you go—and you need to save room to try all the menu items. I especially love that you can mix & match your drink choices as part of the bottomless deal as well. My favorite menu items were the Sope’s, which are a Mexican dish including a thick flour tortilla with pork-carnitas on top, the enchiladas which are rich with flavor, and the Mexican waffles which were topped with fresh bananas and caramel.

Needless to say, this place is the perfect weekend brunch spot and I cannot wait to get back there ASAP.
